Discloser: This tutorial assumes you have good working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro and its tools. It was created and written in PspX2 but may be done in previous versions. My tutorials are from my own creative imagination any resemblance to other tutorials is strictly coincidental. If I am using a brush or mask that belongs you and I don't have you listed please let me know which tutorial and which item is yours include your designer name and website information so I can give you credit and remove them from the materials. I am copyright compliant so any tutorial that has a tube whether it is a Pay To Use (PTU) or Free To Use (FTU) will never be included in my materials. The same goes for scrap kits.   • Settings Used Throughout:
  • Rectangle Layer: 1,1,100,6, #254d6b and (-1),(-1),100,6, #254d6b
  • Long rectangle layer: 0,0, 100, 20, #000000
  • Word art layer: 1,1,100,1, #f65c5c
  • Frame layer: 1,1,50,1, #000000
  • Heart Layer: 1,1,32,4,#000000
  • Element Layers: 2,2,100,4,#000000

  • Tutorial Instructions:

    Step 1: Open letthem_cbk4y template: SHIFT+D close original
  • Delete copyright info
  • Highlight rectangle layer
  • CTRL+A, CTRL+F, CTRL+SHIFT+F
  • Layers: New Raster Layer

  • Step 2:  Open paper02: CTRL+C and close

    Step 3: On canvas: CTRL+SHIFT+L
  • CTRL+D and delete original rectangle layer
  • Add both of the drop shadows under the settings used for rectangle
  • Highlight the waves layer change the mode to hard light
  • Highlight long rectangle layer
  • CTRL+A, CTRL+F, CTRL+SHIKFT+F
  • Layers : New Raster Layer

  • Step 4: Open paper 1: CTRL+C and close

    Step 5: On canvas: CTRL+SHIFT+L
  • CTRL+D and delete original long rectangle layer
  • Add drop shadow under  the settings used long rectangle layer
  • Highlight wordart layer
  • Add drop shadow under the settings used for word art layer
  • Highlight the matte layer:
  • CTRL+A, CTRL+F, CTRL+SHIFT+F
  • Layers: New Raster Layer

  • Step 6: open paper10: CTRL+C and close

    Step 7: On canvas: CTRL+SHIFT+L; layers ; New Raster Layer:

    Step 8: open your tube: CTRL+C and close?

    Step 9: CTRL+SHIFT+L
  • CTRL+D and delete original matte layer
  • Highlight frame layer
  • Add drop shadow under the settings used for frame layer
  • Highlight anyone of the heart layers
  • Add drop shadow under the settings used heart layer

  • We are going to add the elements now: I always start with my top layer highlighted then move the element layer down after all settings are added.

    Step 10: open cluster06-b: CTRL+C and close

    Step 11: On canvas: CTRL+L
  • SHIFT+S: 132 px (width) all layers unchecked
  • Add drop shadow under the settings used for element layers
  • Move this layer under the raster 2 layer above the wave layer
  • Move to the left hand side (see mine for placement)

  • Step 12: open roses2: CTRL+C and close

    Step 13: On canvas: CTRL+L
  • SHIFT+S:  75 px (width)
  • Add drop shadow under the settings for element layer
  • Move to the left hand corner of frame
  • Move layer just above the frame

  • Step 14: Open awarenessribbon1: CTRL+C and close

    Step 15: On canvas: CTRL+L
  • SHIFT+S: 75 px (width)
  • Add drop shadow under the settings for element layer
  • Move to the upper left of the frame
  • Move above the roses2 layer

  • Step 16: open butterfly: CTRL+C and close

    Step 17: On canvas CTRL+L
  • SHIFT+S:  50 px (width)
  • Add drop shadow under the settings for element layer
  • Move to Mr. Williams shoulder. (see mine for Placement)
  • Move this layer above the awarenessribbon1 layer>/li>
    Step 18:open roses1: CTRL+C and close

    Step 19: On canvas: CTRL+L
  • SHIFT+S: 65 px (width)
  • Add drop shadow under the settings for element layers
  • Move this to the center of the tag (see mine for placement -  I placed mine between the words on blade.)
  • Move this layer below the long rectangle layer

  • Step 20: open sun: CTRL+C and close

    Step 21: On canvas: CTRL+L
  • SHIFT+S:  45 px (width)
  • Move to the upper right hand corner of the matte (see mine for placement)
  • Move this layer under the tube layer

  • Step 22: Open metalplate2: CTRL+C and close

    Step 23: On canvas: CTRL+L
  • SHIFT+S: 100 px (width)
  • CTRL+R: Right : 90
  • Move to the right side of the cluster (see mine for placement)
  • Add drop shadow under the settings for element layers
  • Move this layer under the long rectangle layer

  • Step 24: Merge all together
  • SHIFT+S: 500 px (width) all layers checked
  • Add copyright info
  • Add name: I added it on the name tag and the tag itself ( I used the elements layer drop shadow changing the color to #254d6b)
  • Save as .jpg
